Nomisma Core Node
To operate a Node once live, you'll need a certain amount of Nomisma Core Chips, a unique NFTs that grants permission to validate, earn rewards and shape network governance. Depending on the Core Node functions amount of Chips are from 1 to 100.

Community Nodes (Watchers) (late 2025—early 2026)
Capture and record on-chain transactions on the Chromia-based layer without finalizing or validating them, while maintaining a reliable record. Start of Token Unlock

Governing Nodes (early 2026—early 2027)
DAO Governance Participation. Enjoy exclusive participation rights in Nomisma’s on-chain DAO voting mechanisms, allowing you to propose or vote on network parameters, future upgrades, and key community decisions.
1. Testnet incentives
Boost your Testnet Tokens Mining, receive additional drops and bonuses.
2. Transaction Recording
Capture and record on-chain transactions on the Chromia-based layer without finalizing or validating them, while maintaining a reliable record.
3. Start of Token Unlock
All Nomisma Native Tokens locked on Participating Nodes will start unlocking at a gradual pace (10 tokens per day).
4. Primary Staking Rewards
All Participating Nodes will also start receiving a share of on-chain fees dedicated for node holders based on the amount of Nomisma Native Token staked to these nodes.
1. Chain Clustering & Synchronization
Transform the Nomisma chain into a “cluster of chains,” enabling parallel transaction processing while acting as “synchronizers” to ensure data consistency across the expanded chain clusters.
2. DAO Governance Participation
Enjoy exclusive participation rights in Nomisma’s on-chain DAO voting mechanisms, allowing you to propose or vote on network parameters, future upgrades, and key community decisions.
3. Partial Consensus Responsibility
Gain an upgraded role in the consensus process by sharing validation tasks with the underlying chain, enhancing network throughput through offloading certain validation steps from the primary chain.
1. Full Consensus Operators
Finalize and approve transactions, effectively “closing” consensus on the Nomisma chain and providing the highest level of security and trust within the ecosystem.
2. Advanced Verification & Security
Verify blocks produced across all chain clusters, ensuring their accuracy, immutability, and resilience against malicious activity.

Complexity Bonus
Multiple Chips per Node. Some Core nodes will require more than 1 Chip per node as well as more hardware, to reward that more bonuses to higher tiered Core Nodes will be distributed.
